Deliveries

We have two types of deliveries:

Ambient/pantry shop items only: these are shipped 2-3 days from your order date via Royal Mail first class post. You should receive your delivery no later than 5 working days from date of order.

Frozen feast deliveries: these are sent out on the date specified on each month’s special, generally the third Thursday of every month. You can find this by clicking on the product page. If you have ambient items in your order, they will be delivered at the same time as your monthly feast.

We ship via Parcel Force 24 hour courier. You will receive a tracking number on Wednesday to check the status of your Parcel and get your delivery timeslot for the following day.

Once your parcel is with the courier it’s fate is out of our hands and  we are not liable for any misdelivered packages due to incorrect delivery information provided to us so PLEASE CHECK you have entered the correct details. 

Unfortunately, we can’t control delays that may occur with the courier, the best way for you to get information is to contact your local Parcel Force depot. Your order will remain at a safe temperature in the box for 48 hours, as long as you receive it by Friday and put it straight in the fridge/freezer it will be absolutely fine to eat. If there are delays past this time please throw away any chilled items and we will replace your order the following week and issue a complaint with Parcel Force.

So, how do you get our food delivered to you? Follow these steps:

ORDER: Browse our menu and place your order through our online shop page

COOK: The Makan team get busy in the kitchen cooking up all the dishes and then super chilling them

SEAL : We use a vac pack machine to remove air and lock in freshness!

STORE : Food is stored in our freezer ready to be packed and sent out to you (unless an ambient product like Sambal)

DELIVERY :Your order is packed & insulated to keep it nice and cold until it arrives at your door!
