Impress your guests with this fish dish which can be the centrepiece of a dinner spread. This recipe uses @wohhupfood_uk abalone sauce which makes it simple to prepare, giving you time to entertain your guests and be the perfect host. We like to cook with whole fish but this also works well with fillets if you prefer.

All you have to do is layer your aromatics (ginger, garlic, spring onions and chilli) over some fish, drizzle some Abalone sauce and light soya sauce, wrap it up and chuck it in the oven for 20 minutes!

The fish will steam cook in its packet leaving you with super succulent fish. Enjoy with freshly cooked rice and some stir fried veg!

This week’s recipe using @wohhupfood_uk paste is mixed mushroom vegan rendang! As you know rendang is a laborious dish to make, involving many ingredients and lots of time. This paste cuts the cooking process down by hours without sacrificing any delicious flavours!

It’s really simple to make with minimal additional ingredients: lemongrass, mushrooms, onion, coconut milk, kerisik (toasted and pounded coconut) and kaffir lime leaves.

To make, first fry the mushrooms in some oil until the edges crisp up and set aside. Then fry lemongrass, onion and paste in oil until the onions are cooked. Add in cooked mushrooms and the rest of the ingredients and leave to cook for about 30 minutes. And you’re done! Serve with freshly steamed rice and a side of sambal for extra oomph.

Top tip: don’t skip the kerisik, it adds real depth to the dish

Sambal is the PERFECT marinade to liven up any ingredient or dish. For example, coat and roast some cauliflower in sambal, a little bit of oil, salt et voila! A delicious veggie side that is just as exciting as the main 😍

Grate some cheese on top for a lil extra ooomphhhh and don't forget about the cauliflower leaves! They are good too and often binned! 😱

We've come a long way since the first time we sent food nationally in April 2020, we are dead in that first picture because we had no idea how long it would take us to pack and we ended up doing an all nighter. We came home for literally 15 minutes to shower and then went out again 😳

We're glad to say that we have a better grasp of how long things take and are more competent in cooking and packing efficiently. 🥳

Add on some sambal to their Satay Slay burger / bowl and it will fire you up ❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥 the dish is made up of sesame fried tofu, brown rice, lime slaw, rich peanut sauce, crunchy pickled cucumbers and salad. Obviously I went for a bowl because #riceislife.

@wearevegivores is one of our favourite restaurants of all time, they offer amazing food, drinks and a super friendly service!🍸🍸🍸 We highly recommend that you go, you'll be glad you did 😊

Anyone else in LOVE with fried rice!?! Here's a super quick recipe for a delicious nasi goreng cina! This is a Chinese-style fried rice made with @wohhupfood_uk 's Singapore Hainanese Chicken rice paste which gives the dish a savoury ginger aroma to the palate. Newly stocked at @ocadouk - head on over there to get your hands on some! You won't regret it 🤩

We loved creating this recipe for @wohhupfood_uk because its a great standalone dish, balanced with protein, vegetables and carbs but works as an accompaniment with other dishes too. We also love that it can be cooked in under 30 minutes and can be personalised to suit your taste.

Ingredients
3 tablespoons – Woh Hup Hainanese Chicken Rice Paste
400g cooked rice
200g peeled prawns
0.5 teaspoon white pepper
1 teaspoon of salt
150g sweetcorn
150g carrot, diced
1 teaspoon pure sesame oil

Garnish
Shredded lettuce
Sliced cucumber
Chopped spring onion
Sliced chilli

Method
1. Heat sunflower oil in a hot pan with Woh Hup Hainanese Chicken Rice Paste for 3 minutes,
or until the paste flavour is infused with the oil
2. Turn the heat up to high and add prawns, season with salt and white pepper and cook until
the prawns turn orange
3. Add in sweetcorn and carrots and cook for a further 3 minutes. Ensure you are stirring the
pan regularly so that the ingredients don’t burn
4. Add in rice and stir fry for a further 5 minutes
5. Switch the heat off and drizzle in the sesame oil
6. To serve, pack rice in a small dome and then quickly turn it upside down onto a serving plate
to get a perfectly rounded shape
7. Garnish with lettuce, cucumber, sliced chilli and spring onion

We're probably going to regret putting wantans on the menu when we get RSI from folding these delicious dumplings but these are just too good not to share!

These veggie dumplings are cooked with soya mince, carrot, water chestnuts and are flavoured with Chinese chives, ginger, garlic and dark vinegar -YUMMMMMYYYYYY

These are sold as part of our wantan mee meal for two and come with noodles, dark mushroom sauce, kailan, pickled green chillies and your choice of either char siu tenderloin or tofu!

What is pulut panggang? It is glutinous rice steam

What is pulut panggang? It is glutinous rice steamed with coconut milk and a spicy prawn paste which has flavours of sambal, fennel, coriander and lemongrass. Each pulut is wrapped in a banana leaf which adds flavour to the rice when barbequed or pan fried- our recommended way of eating it! 🤤🤤

We also have lemang which are plain and can be eaten with Kari ayam, or classically with serunding - we have two versions, either mushroom or beef.

Order online for UK wide delivery, orders must be in by Sunday night, 9th April for delivery on the 13th and will last in the fridge until Eid, or pop into the freezer if you want to eat it on another day.
