Sambalicious Tofu Bites

Using: THE SAMBAL

This recipe is a great when you’re short on time and want something savoury and nutritious to eat. We like to eat it on it’s own as a little snack but it also works great built into a wrap or eat with rice!

INGREDIENTS:

1 block of Smoked Tofoo

2 tablespoons tomato puree

1 tablespoon of Sambal

1 teaspoon of neutral oil: sunflower or rapeseed

Salt and pepper to taste

METHOD:

Mix the tomato puree, sambal and oil together in a large bowl

Tear the Tofoo by hand into bite sized chunks and add into the bowl

Mix until the tofoo is well coated

Transfer into an air fryer and cook for 8 minutes at 200C , stirring halfway through. If you do not have an air fryer, transfer into a baking tray and cook in a preheated oven at 200C for 20 minutes
