Spiced ‘fish’ cake wrapped in banana leaf, ready to grill on a bbq or heat in a pan!

All our chilled food is delivered ready to heat! Store in the fridge until best before date or keep in the freezer for up to 3 months and defrost in the fridge overnight before heating

Ingredients & Allergens


Tofu (soya), shallot, garlic, sambal (chilli, shallots, ginger, garlic, galangal tamarind, sugar, salt, sunflower oil), kaffir lime leaves, Nori (seaweed), corn flour, turmeric, salt

Heating Instructions

Oven: Pre-heat oven to 180C and place otak otak (still wrapped in banana leaf) on a baking tray in the middle for 15 minutes.

Pan: Heat a tablespoon of sunflower oil in a shallow frying pan over medium-high heat and cook otak otak (wrapped in banana leaves) for 4 minutes on each side.

Once cooked, remove banana leaves (do not eat these) and makan the insides!

Ensure food is piping hot all the way through before eating!

*DO NOT boil or cook the food in it’s bag. We use home compostable, plastic-free bags made of natural ingredients that will disintegrate!


All orders will be delivered on Thursday the week after you place your order.
You need to place your order by Sunday night to receive it the following week.

Orders are then cooked and sent out from our kitchen on Wednesday via Parcel Force next day delivery and will be with you on Thursday, barring any unforeseen delays. We send chilled food out in specially insulated boxes that will keep food cool for up to 48 hours.
