Kari Kapitan = Captain’s Curry
Legend has it that Kari Kapitan was created when a British ship was docked in Malaysia and the captain’s cook, taking influence from a local curry (but with slightly less chilli) presented the curry to the captain who asked what it was, to which he replied ‘curry, captain’ and so we have Kari Kapitan!
Our Tempeh Kapitan is made with organic tempeh steaks from Protempeh, potato and green beans in a zesty lime and coconut curry. Eat with fresh steamed rice and add a squeeze of lime for that extra mmmm!
Our curries are packaged in boxes of 2 and will be delivered frozen. Continue to store in the freezer or defrost in fridge overnight and consume within 3 days.
