Nasi Lemak For 2

Nasi Lemak is Malaysia’s national dish and it’s made up of coconut rice, crispy fried anchovies (ikan bilis), roasted peanuts and sambal. We would eat this any time of the day – breakfast, lunch or dinner – just as it is or with a curry for something a bit more filling. We HIGHLY reccomend having it with our beef rendang 😉

You can pick any of our sambals to go with your Nasi Lemak, choose either:

The Sambal (vegan, 7/10 spiciness)  our spicy original, mix a little into the rice and save the rest of the jar for more fun meal times!

Sambal Nasi Lemak (contains fish, 4/10 spiciness) this one is great for pouring all over your Nasi Lemak

Sambal Belacan (contains fish, 9/10 spiciness) our spicy one, you won’t need to add much of this to your plate!


And if you want to complete your Nasi Lemak in true Malaysian style, you can add on a special Malaysian Kopi (coffee)! We’ll send 2 portions of Old Town White Coffee 3-in-1 mix, just add hot water!

Each Nasi Lemak for 2 kit comes with:

– Coconut rice for 2

– Cucumber segment

– 2 boiled eggs

– Banana Leaves x 2

– 125mL jar of sambal


Nasi Lemak is traditionally served wrapped in a banana leaf, so why not try it out? Or, for an easier option, just use it as a plate!


All our chilled food is delivered ready to heat! Store in the fridge until best before date or keep in the freezer for up to 3 months and defrost in the fridge overnight before heating

Nasi Lemak Sambal: Chilli, shallots, anchovy, garlic, ginger, galangal, tamarind, sugar, salt, belacan (shrimp), sunflower oil

Sambal Belacan: Chilli, belacan (fermented shrimp paste), sunflower oil, sugar, salt

Old Town White Coffee: Creamer (Glucose Syrup, Palm Kernel Oil, Sodium Caseinate (Milk Protein), Stabilizers (E340, E452i), Emulsifier (E471), Anti-caking Agent (E551), Sugar, Instant Coffee, Maltodextrin.

Coconut rice

MICROWAVE: Empty contents into a microwavable bowl and cover with lid/plate. Microwave on high heat for 3 minutes then remove the lid, fluff rice with a fork and return to microwave for a further 1 minute

Ensure food is piping hot all the way through before eating!

*DO NOT boil or cook the food in it’s bag. We use home compostable, plastic-free bags made of natural ingredients that will disintegrate!

You need to place your order by Sunday night to receive it the following week.

Orders are then cooked and sent out from our kitchen on Wednesday via Parcel Force next day delivery and will be with you on Thursday, barring any unforeseen delays. We send chilled food out in specially insulated boxes that will keep food cool for up to 48 hours.
